Two Types of Forest Vegetation in Kyungpook Area

Abstract
|
|
|
Pinus thunbergii coastal forest and Pinus densiflora inland forest in Kyungpook area were phytosociologicaly analised and described.
1. QS between the vegetation of Doumsan and Kogyesan was high with 97.5 and between Palgongsan and Minbongsan also high with the Point of 85.7, while the similarity of the vegetation between the coastal and inland forest low.
2. The coastal forest was recorded as Pinetum thunbergii with characteristic and different species of Pinus thunbergii, Smilax china, Rhododendron schlippenbachii, Rosa multiflora, Pueraria thunbergiana, Arundinella hirta, Carex humilis.
3. The inland forest was classified into Querco-Pinetum with characteristic and different species of Pinus densiflora, Acer pseudo-sieboldiamum, celtis koraiensis, Lindera obtusiloba. Callicarpa japonica, Arthraxon hispidus, Oplismenus undulatifolius.
